ABW-2
(ABC Perth)

ABW-2 was a regional variant of the national public service channel ABC. The 'W' in the station code stands for Western Australia. The suffix '2' denoted their channel position on the dial, not that they were the second ABC channel. There were also other variants of ABC in other states.

(1) Delayed by five minutes due to a party political broadcast in The Avengers normal 7.30pm slot.
(2) Man in the Mirror appears to have been shown in just Perth and Tasmania and was absent from the schedules in other parts of Australia.

(3) Prints tended to be shared by the ABC broadcasters, resulting in runs that were often months apart. However, ABW-2 (Perth) and ABT-2 (Tasmania) ran the series on exactly the same dates. Ordinarily this meant that each broadcaster would air a different episode compared to the other on a given night, but there were exceptions - The Murder Market and The Cybernauts on 22nd March and 12th April 1966 respectively. This suggests that one of the two territories aired a duplicate print or a videotaped telecine of these episodes.
(4) Western Australian newspaper listings do not confirm the episode titles for these two transmissions. Small Game for Big Hunters and The Danger Makers have been assigned to the above list based on Australian running orders for Series 4. It is, however, possible that they were shown in reverse order.

 The New Avengers — Series 1

(5) Three Handed Game was scheduled for Wednesday 16th March 1977, but was pre-empted when ABW-2 elected to instead screen a television special dedicated to the pop star Rod Stewart, Rod the Mod Has Come of Age. Three Handed Game was then appended to the end of the run of Series 1, therefore extending it by one week.
(6) Sleeper scheduled but Dirtier by the Dozen shown in its place.
